Ambulance Services
Lifeline Ambulance Service primarily engages in routine ambulance transfers for both public and private patients, but also provides specialist transport services to the three national transplant teams. We provide medical cover at sporting, motoring, social and corporate events. Our rates are very competitive when compared to our competitors in the private sector, as well as to those of the voluntary ambulance services.
Ambulance Services
We provide a range of ambulance services, for both wheelchair and stretcher-bound public and private patients:

Routine inter-facility ambulance transfers, for tests/procedures and to step-down/respite/hospice care facilities

Routine transfers to/from home to/from medical facilities

Bariatric transfers

Neo-nate transfers

Repatriation services to/from overseas , including arranging air ambulance transfers

Ambulance and/or medical staff cover at events

Note: For privately insured patients, you are advised to contact your health insurer prior to booking an ambulance, to confirm that they will cover private ambulance transport

Booking a Patient Transfer
What Information Do I Need to Provide?

– Patient’s name
– Patient’s mobility (wheelchair or stretcher)
– Collection point (Hospital & ward/unit; home address; etc)
– Destination (Hospital & ward/unit; home address; etc)
– Date of transfer plus pick-up and/or Appointment time

– Patient’s Infection and Allergy Status
– Patient’s Date of Birth (DOB)
– Patient’s Weight
– Details of any External Medical Aids
– Account information: Hospital Account, Privately Insured or a Self-payer
– Patient’s Chart No.
– Patient’s Membership No. (if privately insured)
– Where applicable, the fully completed Private Insurer’s Transport Form

We will be happy to quote in respect of any enquiry regarding patient transfers and we will need some of the details as set out above. If our quote is acceptable, we would need:
 – Full Credit Card details (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Laser)
 – Alternatively, please discuss other payment options with the Duty Controller

Booking Event Medical Cover
What Information Do I Need to Provide?

– The nature of the event
– The location of the event
– Date of the event plus start/finish times
– Approximate number of people attending (this may have a bearing on the level of –
medical cover required)
– Account information/billing details
– Full Credit Card details (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Laser). –
